Cut list calculator
List the boards, bars or sheets you have and the pieces you need. Get a cut list for each one, the kerf lost to the saw, what is left over and a diagram of the layout. Pieces that do not fit are listed, never dropped.
Runs on this device. No upload, account or tracking.
Your material and pieces
Material lost in each cut. Use 0 for none.
Extra allowance on every edge of each piece and stock.
Stock you have
Boards, bars or sheets on hand. Blank rows are ignored.
Pieces you need
Allow rotation only where the grain does not matter.
Advanced: the whole input as JSON
Edit to plan from this JSON instead of the form: per-row "unit" values, or "alternatives": [{"name": "Two smaller sheets", "stock": [...]}] to compare up to five stock options. Editing the form again rewrites it and keeps the alternatives.
Up to 100 stock rows and 100 piece rows, with quantities from 1 to 200; sizes up to 1,000,000 mm with at most six decimal places. A deterministic first-fit decreasing plan, not a proven optimum and not machine instructions.

Technical output
The download contains the same JSON, with one SVG layout per stock unit.
About this tool
What this tool does
Plan how to cut boards, bars or sheets into the pieces you need, with saw blade kerf and tolerance, a cut list per board or sheet and a layout diagram, in your browser.
Limits and safe use
Up to 100 stock rows and 100 piece rows, with quantities from 1 to 200; sizes up to 1,000,000 mm with at most six decimal places. A deterministic first-fit decreasing plan, not a proven optimum and not machine instructions. Check the plan against the real material before cutting. It is a first-fit proposal, not an optimum or machine instructions, and nothing is sent to a server or a model.
