Random team generator
Paste participant names or aliases, choose a team size and the number of rounds, and get a fresh random split for each round. The same seed always gives the same teams, so a draw can be checked or repeated.
Runs on this device. No upload, account or tracking.
Your participants
Use aliases rather than personal records. Names must be unique; spaces at the ends of each line and blank lines are ignored.
2 to 100 unique names of under 60 characters, team size 2 to 10, 1 to 20 rounds. This is random grouping, not a fairness optimizer: repeated pairings and a smaller last team are possible.

About this tool
What this tool does
Split a list of names into random teams for one or more rounds, reproducibly from a seed, without uploading the list.
Limits and safe use
2 to 100 unique names of under 60 characters, team size 2 to 10, 1 to 20 rounds. This is random grouping, not a fairness optimizer: repeated pairings and a smaller last team are possible. Review the teams before sharing them. The draw is random grouping from a seed, not a fairness optimizer, and nothing is sent to a server or a model.
